I liked this series.
I don't read a lot of shifter novels but have to admit that I was pretty drawn in by the first episode of "Lord of the Bears". It was hot and I became invested in the relationship between Logan and Jenny early on. A bear shifter, and the last of his kind, Logan is not only looking for a mate, but also someone to bear (pun intended) his child. The two have an unmistakable chemistry and this is tested as a third party is thrown into the mix in this next episode. The addition of Sonya, the leopard shifter, made this another interesting read and I can now officially say that I am hooked on this series.
What a sweet and sexy Bear. Can't wait to see where this relationship goes. So far all might work out for everyone.
This is Book 2 of the Lord of the Bears trilogy and I sincerely hope there will be more. These books are my first experience with shape shifters and I was hooked from Book 1. I had to see where this was going so I've now gone through all three. This second book begins when one of Logan's former lovers, Sonya who is a Leopard shape shifter, shows up needing his help. Jenny is none too pleased with this and the story takes off from there. You can imagine, some fur starts flying.
The second installment by Jess Hayek is beautifully crafted and moves at a fair pace with skillfully placed twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. As soon as I got to the end, I went straight to Book 3. I highly recommend all three titles.
Short read, good story line
Still unbelievable but I'm still reading more of the series. I seem to not be able to help myself. The bear love made me do it.
I gave this book a rating of 5 because I loved it . They barely knew each other but they fell in love with each other fully. I recommend this book to anyone who is 18 or older and also love shifters.
