Mr. O'Connell has created a massive unique alternative Earth where the Russians have teamed up with vampires to conquer the world. Only Canada, Mexico, The United States, and South America are still fighting due to their own supernatural allies. The werewolves and witches of the world have migrated to the Western Hemisphere and are battling the Russians and the vampire nations with the Americans. It reminded me a little of the "Underworld" movies but with much deeper characters and a better story! Lots of cool technology, history, and even a little romance all combine to create a story that leaves you wanting more. This would make an epic movie as well.
If this book was under a different title with a slightly better cover, it would be a runaway bestseller. The title makes sense after reading the story but is not a good marketing tool due to it not really being descriptive enough to catch the online reader's eye.
Please, Mr. O'Connell, keep this series going and write others as well! If Ebooks aren't going to work, then by all means submit your manuscript to Baen or another publisher who will market your books aggressively. You are one of the better surprises I have found on Unlimited in a long time.
